          A home and landmark.
History of the building as a school.

At the age of six, my interest in art began with not understanding the complexities that are involved in the creative process. In my youth, I was interested in billiards and the way the light hung over the table, creating a visual drama. I grew up in rural Pennsylvania, where vehicle travel is a way of life. I reminisce about how the light illuminates the space, interior and exterior, giving one the invitation to explore the content/context of the space and forms. Light is not a part of our life, it is the core of our life, the center of our universe. The universe speaks and reflects light in its own dimension. One of nature's many environmental light shows is the northern lights (Aurora Borealis), a rainbow of light in the night's winter sky. As a dewy-eyed creator this was a humbling and epiphanic experience.

I am on a sculptural search with the use of light. In my creative adventure, I am interested in the way light illuminates space, how light responds, reflects, refracts, bends, and its endless continuum.
